Gary W. Fountain, 63, of Palm Harbor, FL, passed away on June 14, 2011. Funeral services will be held 11:30 AM, Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Avenue, Bushnell, FL 33513 with full military honors by Marion County Military Honor Guard. The family will receive friends at the White Chapel, 1190 Georgia Avenue, Palm Harbor, FL 34683 on Monday, June 20, 2011 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
A native of Edmore, Michigan and a local resident since 1982, when he moved here from Three Rivers, Michigan. Gary was a property manager and of the Catholic Faith. A US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, Gary was 100% service connected disabled veteran that was awarded a National Defense Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and Vietnam Campaign Medal with devices. He was exposed to Agent Orange during his tour in country.
He is survived by his wife, Christine E. Fountain of Palm Harbor, FL and his father in law and mother in law; Bill and Joan Goshell of Palm Harbor, FL.
