Georgia M. Myers, 98, of Dunedin, FL went home to be with the Lord on October 23, 2009.
Born October 6, 1911 in Irvin, KY, Georgia lived in Dayton, OH, while raising her family. Later she moved 1st to Naples, FL in the 70’s and then to Dunedin in the early 90’s.
Mrs. Myers was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Myers; her son, Jackie Myers; and her son, Wendell R. Myers.
She is survived by her son, William (Shirley) Myers, Las Vegas, NV; her daughter, Shirley A. Weaver, San Marcos, CA and her son, Ronald L. (Shirley) Myers, Clearwater, FL; 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren; her brother Robert Richardson, and sisters Opal Small and Gladys Forkey.
Mrs. Myers enjoyed collecting antiques, shopping flea markets and garage sales looking for good buys and treasures.
Georgia was blessed with a loving family, kind heart, warm smile and she made friends everywhere she went. Georgia will be dearly missed by those who knew her, those whose hearts she touched and all those who loved her.
