Veterans Funeral Care Glenn Satterfield

Glenn Ray Satterfield, 62, passed from his life on October 21, 2007. Born on February 2, 1945 to his late parents Raymond F. Satterfield and Lona D. Earnest in Florance, Alabama. He served our country in the U.S. Army. Most of his life, he was a carpenter and in his spare time he truly enjoyed working on wood projects. Glenn was a long time resident of Jacksonville, Florida before moving to Alamo, Georgia.

Glenn will be remembered as a loving brother, a devoted and caring friend to many. Glenn had a special friendship with the Brock Family in MacRae, Georgia. Along with many lifetime friends of Jacksonville, Florida. His sister Joan wished special thanks to the doctors and staff of the V.A. Hospital in Augusta, Georgia and her blessings to the V.A. Hospice Team of Lake City, Florida for the kindness and comfort they gave to our brother during his illness. He will be missed by all who knew him.

His passing will be mourned by his son, Glenn Satterfield, Jr. Rachel; granddaughter Samantha Rae of Port St. Lucie, Florida; brothers Rick Earnest Robin of Ft. Valley, Georgia and Jerry Earnest of Alabama; his ?Baby Sister? Joan Hamilton Hal of Jacksonville, Florida. He loved his nieces and nephews Christian Hancock, Shaye, Seth and Chelsea Earnest.

The memorial service will be held Saturday, October 27, 2007 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road with Pastor Neal Howard officiating. Glenn would have liked you to dress casual. Arrangements entrusted to Veterans Funeral Care, Clearwater, Florida
