Greg was like a brother to George and a great life long friend. He will never be forgotten and will remain in our hearts and memories for the rest of our lives. We will never be able to go to Maggie Valley or the area without feeling his presence. We will see him on the other side.
I was a 35yr old rookie just out of the academy in 1982 working North county. He was a friend who took me under his wing and looked out for me on my calls. Always there to help!
When you had no idea what was on the other side of a door, Greg was first in line to go with you. Will miss you friend.
Greg you were my first friend in Law Enforcement, and I will always cherish that memory. I started as a 21 year old girl dispatching at Indian Shores PD. With your encouragement through the years I became the Deputy that I wanted to be, and I thank you for that.
Bob will certainly miss seeing you out and about on your Harley, you were one of a kind and he is missing you. You can now ride on streets of gold!
Our love & support will be with Tanya & your family.

If Greg was having a bad day you never knew it. Always upbeat and ready for some laughs, just one of those guys that made your day a little brighter! Rest in Peace Friend.
It was an honor to serve with Greg as his fellow officer and his Chief. Greg was an excellent cop and always reliable. He was also fun to work with. Breakfast will never be the same my friend. You will be missed. Too young, too soon. Always there as a friend and willing to help. So much of you will be remembered and looked up to. As a coach, your two time wrestling State Championship in Ohio enabled you to teach the students of Pinellas County the skills you had achieved. Along with your knowledge, skills, guidance, and friendship, you made a difference in many student’s lives.

My condolences to Tanya and the rest of Greg’s family. Greg was my coach, a mentor and a dear friend. He guided through a troubled youth and was always there for me. With words of encouragement, a smile, a hug or a heart to heart talk. I will forever be grateful for having hm in my life. I haven’t spoken to him in years and his named popped in my head. I am devastated
by his passing. He was a “one of a kind” man.
I miss you Dad…..everyday. I wish you could of met Brooklyn, but know that wishes come true and we will see you again .
Baby, I miss you more than words can convey. You changed my life and gave me the best marriage a woman could ever dream to have. You were the most caring, loving husband and wonderful provider. There was truly nothing more that you could have given or done for me. A part of me left this world with you. Wait for me babe,as we’ll be together again under the Neon Moon. You are and will forever be, the love of my life……
Tanya, you won’t remember me but we met back when you and Greg were first dating. Greg was more than a friend, he was a life-changing event in my life. He was there when I needed a friend, a hero or just a wild ride on the Harley over the Skyway bridge on a stormy day that I will never forget. I am so sorry I didn’t know about his death until now. I will be making a trip to see his gravesite immediately. He was a wonderful man who deserved all good things. I know you two had a good marriage and he loved you very much.
As I sit here crying missing my and reading these words left by so many people, I want to say thank you for taking the time to do that. I can’t express how I felt reading them, I can just say thank you and my dads heart is full knowing how people felt about him, and the impact he had on your lives. I’m so proud of my dad. I was asked one time what I wanted my obituary to say about me when I passed. I have ponderd that question all my life….now I know. forever in my heart … Till I hear ” WENDY ITS YOUR DAD” again, I will be missing him everyday, and mourning the grandpa my kids will miss out on. Till I see you again dad, I love you.
