Mrs. Jenkins, you were like a second mother to me. I will always remember how sweet and kind you and Mr. Jenkins were to me.
Our thoughts are with you, Marvin and John at the passing of your mother. Your Mom was always kind and patient with all of us hanging around her house – good memories!
I was lucky enough to spend time in the Jenkins household as a teenager. Mrs. Jenkins extended warm hospitality. Her home was a fun place to be! She was a saint to tolerate folks like me, Johnâ??s constant drumming and Marvinâ??s zany antics. She laughed with us, fed us and made us feel welcomed. A dear mother she was.
I thank her for sandwiches, for comfort and for bringing two friends I love into this world.
I wish the family strength, courage and acceptance. May good memories stay with them. May Mrs. Jenkins rest in peace.
