Henry Jurny, Jr., 86, of Tampa, FL, formerly of Poland, OH, passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at Brookside Hospice House in Palm Harbor, FL under the care of Suncoast Hospice.
Henry retired at a foreman from General Motors after thirty years of service. He was a member of Ruritan in Ohio and was a 32nd degree Mason. He loved to bet on the gray horses at the race track and bingo. He was a Coast Guard veteran of WWII serving as a Merchant Marine.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Ruth McMurray Jurny in 2009, his sisters and brother. He leaves a stepson, William Jeffery McElrath of Ohio; stepdaughter, Kathy (James) Robinson of Tampa, FL; several nephews, nieces and grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
