Howard Thomas Dunn, 91, of Pinellas Park, Florida, died on September 23, 2013, at the Tierra Pines Center in Largo, Florida.
He was born on August 31, 1922, in Lisbon, New York, to Homer and Gladys (Jones) Dunn and worked most of his life as a welder for the St. Lawrence Seaway. He was a Christian and served in the US Navy during World War II. He moved to Groveland, Florida, in 1983 from Lisbon, New York.
Howard is survived by his sisters, Dorothy (Bob) Crawford of Leesburg, Florida; Mary Johnson of Owego, New York; Lois Glass of Lisbon, New York; nieces, Linda (Dave) Bussinger, Deborah Rose, Lynne (Michael) Esquivel, Beverly (Rex) Hurlburt, Martha Orologio, Gloria (Jed) Cohen, Judi (George) Schulz and a nephew William (Robin) Glass; a sister in-law, Ruth. Howard was preceded in death by his brother, Edwin Dunn.
Services will be held in New York at a later date.

So sorry for your loss. May God bless you and give you peace and comfort at this time. I was Howie’s nurse since he came to our nursing home. Most everyday he would do or say something that always put a smile on my face. He had great family support from Linda and David who I’ve gotten to know and love. Peace be with you in Jesus’s name.
