Irene Lapinski peacefully passed away on November 2, 2012, to join her husband William (Bill) Lapinski. Irene was born in Connecticut, on January 16,1917. Irene lived on Russell Street, in Brooklyn N.Y. with her husband starting a family and managing their manufacturing company, Stanley & Arnold in Flushing, N.Y. Relocating to Woodbury, N.Y. they raised their three daughters.
After retirement they moved to San Remo, N.Y. for 30+ years. They relocated to Beverly Hills, Florida to be near their daughter Christina. She then moved to Nature Coast Lodge in N. Lecanto, Florida after her husband passed away.
Irene loved flower gardens. Her favorite flowers were roses, peonies and lily of the valley. She enjoyed reading about nutrition and caring for neighborhood wild birds and small animals.
Irene leaves behind three daughters and two sons-in-law; Christina Skinner of Beverly Hills, Florida, Diana & Joseph Kaufman of West Palm Beach, Florida, Barbara and John of Moretown,Vermont, and three granddaughters, Jessica Kaufman, Kacie Dorohow- Martin and Kelly Dorohow.
God, thank you for all your kindness and love you gave Irene during her passage into Heaven. May your Angels guide her and protect her on her joyous journey to Heaven and happy reunion with her husband William. Please bless her family spread so-far. "Be mindful" O Lord as they travel by land and by air. Make their sorrow short and mild. Let them remember the happy times and the smiles the family had when they think of Irene & Bill.
