James E. Rectenwald, 62, of Clearwater, FL died on October 30, 2009 at the Mease Countryside Hospital, Safety Harbor, FL from natural causes. His funeral is 11:30 AM, Monday, November 9, 2009 at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Avenue, Bushnell, FL 33513 with Marion County Military Honor Guard, to officiate. A native of Toledo, OH, he had extended employment at Texas Instruments and American Airlines. James was of the Catholic faith and he attended Bowling Green University and Owens Technical Institute. He was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War and was awarded a Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and a National Defense Service Medal. He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Rectenwald of Clearwater, FL; his brother, Gary Rectenwald of La Jolla, California and his sister, Karen Ferguson and her husband, Tom of Trinity, FL.
