TSGT James F. Parker, 79, of Tampa, FL, passed away on Monday morning, January 6, 2014 at Melech Hospice House under the care of LifePath Hospice in Temple Terrace.
Jim was born in Lucedale, MS, he moved here from Biloxi, MS in 1992. He retired as a line cook at Andrews NCO Club in Maryland after 20 years of service in the US Air Force. He was a Vietnam Veteran and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal with 1 Battle Star. He was an active member of the American Legion Post #139, the Elks Lodge, and Moose Lodge in Tampa. He enjoyed traveling, boating and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Mabel on Deceber 24, 2013 and her guestbook may be signed from this website. Survivors include his four sons: Terry Cease of Ft. Washington, MD, Gary Cease of Seaford, DE, Barry Cease of Alabama, and Larry Cease of Palmetto, FL; 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
