OUR PRAYERS GO OUT TO CHERYL AND FAMILY ON THE LOSS OF JIM.HOPEFULLY HE IS NOW HAPPY AT THE ETERNAL “TRACK” OF PEACE.
James loved his family and fought hard to remain on this earth. He suffered more than any person ever should. He knew his life was taken by the cigarette industry menace and yet, he had the courage to take steps against their evil and toward preventing others from experiencing the same fate. I am deeply saddened by his loss and know he will be greatly missed. It was a privilege to know and represent him.
Howard Acosta.

Well, there are so many memories, I don’t know where to start. I met Jimmy for the first time when I was 15 years old. It was new and akward but Jim new what to do and say to make me feel at ease. By the time my visit was over, I felt like I knew him for a long time. Jimmy was a father figure to me and a grandfather to my children. We had a lot of good times together. He went on all of our family vacations, we fished together, we played pool together, we went to the dog track together, and when I got old enough, we even had drinks together. In the time we spent alone, Jimmy talked to me about a lot of things: life experiences, women, finances, work ethic, and mainly about enjoying life. I’m at my mothers’ house now and it doesn’t feel the same without Jimmy here. This is the first time I’ve been down here and Jimmy isn’t here for me to talk to. He will be sorely missed by my family and I and Jimmy will always remain in my heart. I know that he and my mother loved each other dearly and it is going to be hard for us all to cope with. I’m so glad he became a major part of my life and my children’s lives. We all love Jimmy and it’s so hard to even put into words. Jimmy thank you for teaching me about life and about being a man. I’ll do my best to try and take care of my mother in your absence and I hope she is strong enough to help us cope with our loss too. We love you and miss you. It’s not going to be the same with you gone.
May you rest in peace…
IM GLAD YOUR MY PAPA BECAUSE YOU TAUGHT ME HOW TO FISH AND OTHER STUFF

Jimmy, You were a wonderful neighbor and man. We will miss you in Leisure Beach.
Please accept my condolences for your loss. While I did not know your loved one personally, we have all been affected by the grief death causes.
Revelation 21:3-5 promises that soon death will be eliminated. John 11:28,29 further assures us that we can look forward to seeing our loved ones again. How we look forward to that day!
I hope these scriptures serve as a comfort to you and your family as they have me.
