James L. Sullivan-US Army Veteran-SSG, 68, of Lakeland, FL died on December 4, 2008 from cancer at Valencia Hill Nursing Center.
A lifelong resident of Springhead and Lakeland, FL; he was a retired long distance truck driver for Mayflower Movers and Star Transportation. James was of the protestant faith and he is survived by his son, James "Wes" Sullivan; a daughter, Cynthia Hicks, both of Lakeland; a sister, Charlene Johnson and her husband, Lang of Spokane, WA and two grandsons: Andrew and John Tyler Hicks.
Services are 11:00 AM, Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at Light & Life Methodist Church, 5730 Deeson Road, Lakeland, FL 33810 with family receiving friends from 9:30 AM until service time. Final interment with military honors will be Tuesday afternoon, 2:30 PM at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
