ANDERSON, JEAN E., 91, of Palm Harbor, died Sunday, August 21, 2011 at Stratford Court of Palm Harbor.
Jean was born in Cotton Plant, Ark., and relocated to Pinellas County in 1989 from Arlington, VA. She served in the Navy for two years during World War II, where she met her husband of 59 years, Robert E. Anderson. She was a member of St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church, Palm Harbor and donated her time to their Helping Hands ministry.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Anderson, Sr., and her son, Robert E. Anderson, Jr. Survivors include two daughters, Susan Anderson, Marietta, GA and Nancy Anderson, Clearwater.
Graveside services will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, August 25, 2011 at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park, Clearwater.

I am a Eucharistic Minister at St. Luke the Evangelist. I visited Stratford Court every Thursday morning and brought Jean communion. She was always happy to see me and to receive the Body of Christ. It was a sad day when they moved Jean to the second floor. She was a beautiful woman and a sweet spirit. I will keep her in my prayers.
Your Mom will live on in your memories. What a fine daughter she raised.
