Jerry F. Carroll, 82, of Zephyrhills, FL passed away on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at HPH Hospice in Dade City.
Born in Point Pleasant, NY, he moved here from Garland, TX in 1989. He retired as a Traffic Light Technician for the NY State Dept. of Transportation (NYSDOT) after 30 years of service. He was a US Air Force veteran of the Korean War. Jerry was a member of St. Mary’s Church in Canandaigua, NY. He enjoyed square dancing and was an avid coin collector.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, William and Virginia; a brother, Eugene; and sister, Mary “Jackie” Springer. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Audrey; three sons, Steve of Garland, TX, Scott (Cathy) of Manchester, NY, and Sid of Zephyrhills; and a sister, Joan Barden of Bloomfield, NY.
