Andrews, Jo-An E. “Nan”, 66, of Seminole, passed away on March 11, 2011 at Morton Plant Hospital, Clearwater after a courageous battle with cancer.
Jo-An was born in New Rochelle, NY on July 25, 1944. She moved to St. Petersburg, FL as a young child and graduated from Northeast High School. She worked as a Dental Assistant in the Seminole area and enjoyed cooking, shopping, and entertaining family and friends.
She was blessed with three daughters and two grandsons who were her pride and joy. In her final moments, the bond between her and the boys gave her peace.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Mark; daughters, Christine Brogle, Christal (Michael) Sofarelli, and Jennifer (Tom) Swallow; and grandson, Kyle and Austin Brogle. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the 3rd floor nurses at Morton Plant Hospital for their support, compassion, & care in her final days.
A memorial service was held at 2 PM on Friday, March 18, 2011 at Bay Pines Chapel.
A graveside service will be held at 1:30 PM on Friday, May 6, 2011 at Bay Pines National Cemetery, 10000 Bay Pines Blvd., Bay Pines, FL 33744 (727) 398-9426.
