John D. Washington Sr.
WASHINGTON, John D. Sr., went home to be with the Lord peacefully June 10, 2009.
John was born May 21, 1941, in Middletown, N.J. November 16, 1960, he married Christine (Wilson) Washington. From that union, two children were born, Angela and John Jr. He entered the U.S. Air Force in 1960 and retired in 1981, in Tampa. He leaves to cherish is memory, his loving wife, Christine; daughter, Angela Palmer (Michael) of Tampa; son, John Washington Jr. of Tampa; mother, Louise Washington of Tampa; 10 grandchildren; five great- grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
A memorial service will take place at 11am on June 19, 2009, at Rivers of Life Church Ministries in Brandon, FL followed by full military honors by the MacDill Air Force Honors Team at 2:30pm from Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
