Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
Aunt Pat and family: Karen and my thoughts and prayers are with you and John. Just a quick thanks for having known John. So long “Ba Ba”; we will miss you. Thanks for the fun parties and times we had at East Rockaway, your attempts to improve my golf game, and your graciousness and generosity as a host. Also I will have the memory of your performance at the “show” in Top of the World a few years ago in my mind’s eye forever – great singing and acting. Take care buddy. Aunt Pat and the gang – take care and we are thinking of you.
John was a good friend and neighbor and a great singer.
My thoughts and prayer are you you and your family. May the Lord comfort you in your time of need.
I am so sorry for the John’s passing. My prayers are with you. Rest in Peace John.
Words cannot describe how amazing my Grandpa is. Grandpa taught me how to fish, how to ride a bike, how to drive a car and so much more. My Grandpa even taught me the finest of language articulation (LOL) … Our family has endured a tremendous loss. However we take with us memories for a life time! An amazing cook, Grandpa knows just how to make the meat fall off the bone! An amazing singer Grandpa knows how to rock out to Tiny Bubbles. But no one plays a better Bagpipe then him. He’s the Grand BooBa!! My Grandpa… you are greatly missed. Not enough words can be written in his honor, in his memory and for the love he poured into this family unto us. Nannie, I love you more than anything!! You are in my heart and prayers now and always. Grandpa will be greatly missed xoxoxo
My deepest sympathy for the passing of your grandfather. Thanks for serving Sir.
my thoughts of condolences are with John’s family and my good friend, Januarie for her loss of her grandfather.
My deepest condolences.
Our deepest condolences to you during this difficult time.
We are so terribly sorry for your loss. He will forever be in our hearts and will never be forgotten. I have such wonderful memories of him that I will keep with me for the rest of my life. I will remember him as always smiling and being so funny like always. Since my grandparents passed away when I was very young you two took on that role for me. I was always over for every holiday and occasion. I loved him as if he was my grandfather. You will always be Grandpa Poof to me.

My Uncle John, a true class act and an absolute gentlemen. When I was a little kid growing up he would always greet me with a firm handshake and a kiss on the mouth. I always liked that. He was a special person who treated everyone like gold. Uncle John, you will be greatly missed. Love, Billy
Miss you Uncle John! I got such a kick out of Billy Casey’s entry above, saying Uncle John would… “(Uncle John would) greet me with a firm handshake and a kiss on the mouth. I always liked that.” Perfect! I also agree, Uncle John was “a true class act and an absolute gentlemen”. Rest in peace as you await us in the promised land…
