To Marlene, and her family,
As youngsters in Holmesburg, Kenny, ( John) as we called him then), was a part of all we first cousins growing up in Holmesburg,( mainly on Craig and Hartel Streets).
Our grandmother’s house was the center of our gatherings. The girls in the neighborhood played together, and Kenny, his brother, my brother, Steve, and Jimmy Biggins were the group of the boy first cousins who played together.
My memories of those times with Kenny are not as defined as they are today knowing him now in our later years: John Cimino, loving husband, generous grandparent, and good man.
We had some very good conversations in Cape May Courthouse especially during the Cimino Christmas gatherings at my house.
Sitting on our sunporch after other family guests all departed, and sharing our life stories of family, and these our senior years is my best memory of my cousin John that cherish, as well as our last phone call where I spoke to a courageous and gentle giant of a man. Eternal rest in peace. Amen
Patty

Marlene and family.
, John and I worked together in Homicide, and we shared a lot of good and bad times together. Most of all, the best times shared were over a couple of beers discussing how we could make life better for all those people we had to deal with. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. I know that John is in a better place and I look foward to some day continuing our conversations in that better place.

To Marlene, Doug, & Debbie, I’m very sorry for your loss. I was fortunate to have John as a partner in Homicide for 3 years before we both retired, he was one of the best at his job. But more than that,I was fortunate to have him as a good friend, and his great sense of humor will be missed.
