John Keith Taylor, Jr., affectionately known as "Keith Potter", the son of the late Rejeania Potter and Ora L. Potter, was born on August 31, 1955. He passed away peacefully on Monday August 29, 2011.
Keith received his education in the Aberdeen school system. He entered the U.S. Army November 22, 1978. He met his wife, the late Patricia Taylor during his military journey and from this union his only child was born, Tamica Shantae Taylor.
Keith was liked by all. He was an intelligent, funny, outgoing, and gregarious guy.
Keith leaves to cherish his memory; his father, Ora L. Potter; his daughter, Tamica Epps(Mario) of Richmond, Va; Four sisters, Patricia Potter-Taylor(Reginald) of Montgomery, Alabama, Audrey Potter of Havre de Grace, Judy Potter-Brown(Jerry) of Havre de Grace, and Whitney Potter of Port Deposit; two nieces, Latasha Quarterman and Jaylyn Brown of Havre de Grace; and two nephews, Reginald Myles Taylor of Montgomery, Al and Gerald "Austin" Brown of Havre de Grace.
Keith leaves behind a special aunt Nettie Robinson. As well as two special cousins Ella Jones and Michael Maxfield
Keith also leaves behind a special adopted brother Michael Williams, and a host of aunts, cousins, and friends.
A memorial service will be held Friday September 2, at 10 a.m. at Bethel A.M.E. Church, 196 North Main St., Port Deposit, MD 21904. Interment will be held at Baltimore National Cemetery.
