My grandfather was a man of incredible valour and integrity, he was well respected throughout his life by his family and friends. He instilled in me and everyone around him the desire to do the absolute best we could do in life. Grandpa’s word was as solid as he was. I will miss him dearly!
God saw you getting tired,
And a cure was not to be.
So he put his arms around you,
And whispered ” Come to me.”
With tearful eyes I watched you,
And saw you pass away.
Although I loved you dearly,
I couldn’t make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
Hard working hands to rest,
God broke my heart to prove to me,
He only takes the best…
With Love Always, Ruth…
Always in our hearts Dad… RIP
