Jose Angel Garcia, 71, of Hialeah Gardens, FL passed away at his residence on May 10, 2008 of natural causes. A native of Catano, Puerto Rico and a local resident since 1990, when he moved here from Brooklyn, NY; he was a retired lithograph printer, a protestant ; a United States Air Force Veteran serving during the Korean War as a firefighter and received the National Defense Service Medal. He is survived by his wife, Clotilda of Hialeah Gardens, FL; toe sons, Joseph Garcia of San Antonio, Texas and Richard Malave and his wife Darleen of Hollywood, FL; three daughters; Meliza Garcia and her husband, Angel Rodrigo of Cape Coral, FL; Denise Malave of Hollywood, FL and Josephine Garcia of Hialeah Gardens, FL; his mother, Angelita Garcia of Brooklyn, NY; a brother, John Garcia and his wife, Elena of Ocala, FL; three sisters: Louisa Garcia, Carmen Garcia and Barbara Marrero of Brooklyn, NY and seven grandchildren.
