Joseph A. Gambino, 69, of Clearwater, FL died at Morton Plant Hospital, Clearwater, FL on February 1, 2011 from natural causes.
A native of Cheshire Township, MI and a local resident since 1996, when he move here from Reno, Nevada; he was a carpenter in the construction field and a Catholic. He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam Era and was stationed Atsugi, Japan. He was a member of the American Legion Post 119, Largo and Eagles Lodge Post # 342.
Joseph id preceded in death by his parents: Carl and Myla Kleinbrink and he is survived by his wife, Sharon Gambino of Clearwater, FL; a son, Jay M. Couger of Lubbock, Texas and three grandchildren.
Graveside services are 4:00 PM, Tuesday afternoon, February 8, 2011 at War Veterans Memorial Park, 9600 Bay Pines Blvd., St Petersburg, FL 33708 with Veterans of Foreign War Honor Guard, to officiate. Call Virginia Mitchell @ 727-417-7366 for specific location.

Joe was a really good neighbor to have. I’ll miss him.
Joe was such a nice person. I always enjoyed stopping and talking with him. He was so sweet to my dog and my grand daughter. I will miss him very much.
