Joseph A. DeSantis, Sr., 80, of Ocala, passed away on August 23, 2012 at home surrounded by family.
Joseph was a veteran of the Korean War. He grew up in Cleveland, OH, the son of Giuseppe and Nancy DeSantis. Joseph spent over 40 years as an automobile salesman and owned two automobile dealerships. He took pride in the fact that he always left his customers satisfied. Joseph retired from the business seventeen years ago and moved to Ocala, FL to pursue his other passion, golfing.
Mr. DeSantis is survived by a wife, Betty, six children: Pamala D'Angelo, Joseph DeSantis Jr., Emileo DeSantis, Nancy Ebert, Mario DeSantis and Danell Dilisio; ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
The viewing will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 AM with a Mass following at 11:00 AM at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, 5 SE 17th Street, Ocala, Florida 34471.
