Joseph James Palmisano, 91, Captain-US Army-of Clearwater, FL passed away at Sunset Point Nursing Home of August 15, 2007 of natural causes. A native of New Jersey and the former owner of Seashore Fruit CO in Atlantic City, NJ; he moved to the Clearwater, FL area in 1987 from Absecon, NJ and he was a US Army Veteran of World War II; a graduate of the Quartermaster School; and a gradate of Officer Candidate School. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Gladys of Clearwater; a son, Joseph J. Palmisano Jr. and his wife, Margaret of St Petersburg, FL;daughter, Adele Palmisano-Brown and her husband, Alan of Marmora, NJ; three brothers: Leonard Palmisano of Coco Beach, FL; Lawrence Palmisano and his wife, Jane of Ocala, FL and Ronald Palmisano and his wife, Phyllis of Absecon, NJ; three grandchildren; Douglas Williams, Jenna Palmisano-Perfetti and Laura Palmisano; three great-grandchildren: Alex and Cole Perfetti and Benjamin Williams; great-grandchildren by marriage: Marc Heaton and Sandra Borgoynr and his great grandchildren: James, Joseph and Owen Heaton; Jarett Gani and Katarina Oshea. Graveside service are 10:45 AM, Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at the Bay Pines VA National Cemetery, 10000 Bay Pines Blvd., Bay Pines, FL 33744 with Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9272, officiating.
