Joseph Mascherin , 86, of Tampa, went on to be with the Lord on March 30, 2013 at the home of Joseph and Marsha Mascherin, Jr.
Joseph moved here from his native Trenton, NJ in 1990 after retiring as a Master Carpenter. He served our country during WWII in the US Coast Guard on the USS Wakefiled. He was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church and attended Tampa Covenant Church, both in Carrollwood.
He was preceded in death by his wife Rosemary in 2000; and two brothers, Anthony and Louis. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Joseph Jr. and Marsha; and three grandchildren, Colleen, Joseph and Lauren.
A memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm on Thursday, April 18, 2013 at Tampa Covenant Church, 13320 Lake Magdalene Blvd. Interment with military honors will be presented at 10:45AM on Friday, April 19, 2013 at Bay Pines National Cemetery, Bay Pines, FL.
