I was Karl’s Oncology Nurse. As a nurse some patients form a bond with you. Karl was one of those patients. He was an amazing man who loved his family. He always made us laugh. I have a Son going into the Police Academy, with everything Karl was going through, he still took the time to give advise. He had great courage and fought with all he had. We learned alot from Karl.I wish peace for His family. Rest in Peace Karl, you will be greatly missed. Thank You for always giving yourself to your country and everyone whos lives you touched. I’m so grateful that we were able to spend time this Easter and for all the many trips to Michigan as a kid and Florida as I’ve grown up. Uncle Karl always had a smile on his face and was always a great person to be around. You’ll be missed.

Will miss the good times at the Legion. Deb so sorry about your loss.
I love you Daddy.
You accepted me into your family in a year when I lost my own father and you stepped into offer support and guidance to me as I became a father. You welcomed me in as one of your own, no exceptions just acceptance, It is still very hard to accept your gone because it was just like yesterday you, your father and I were sitting around the dining room table reminiscing about our times in the Army, I was very proud to be sitting there with three generations of soldiering.
I know your memory will carry on in your grandchildren, and you will be greatly missed.
My sympathies to Debbie and Family. Karl was a good man and a friend of mine. I was blessed to have him as my friend and I will miss him. May he Rest in Peace.
