I am proud to say Kenny Dillon was my friend and brother in arms. I am proud to say that I served with Ken in the USAF where we both served as Para Rescue. Kenny always had my back. We departed company only to be reunited at MacDill AFB, where we served out our final tours together. An American Hero has been called home. “Stand down” and rest easy my friend.. Until we meet again. TSGT Mike Burton USAF
I would like to say that the time I got to talk to Uncle Kenny was always interesting, especially on his favorite subjects, as time went on learning more about him, I am so blessed to have that time, I am sure I will learn even more through the family, In which all the blessing and prayers go out to all the family, Uncle Kenny may you rest in peace, lots of love and huggies are making their way to you :)
Betty, I am so sorry for your loss.
Ron
Even though this is a few years after his passing, I recently spoke with a fellow city employee who mentioned Mr. Dillon and we spoke of him with fond remembrance. Ken was a stand-up guy and always a gentleman. I also had the pleasure of meeting his daughter Tina several years ago in Tampa.
My thoughts and prayers to her and to all of his family. Mr. Dillon was a fine member of the City of Tampa family.Again, please excuse the lateness of this condolence as I just came across this website in searching for information on Mr. Dillon.
Respectfully,
Ron Thuemler
