Laura Lynn Teater, 64, of Clearwater, FL died on Monday, September 28, at her home. She was born in Springfield, IL and moved to Clearwater in 2002.
She spent her woking career as an Accounting Clerk for the State of Illinois, Military Affairs Section. She was a Christian.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Louise Teater and her son Mickey. She is survived by her son, James Birt of Clearwater; daughter, Shannon Childers of Germany; brother Larry Teater of Springfield, IL; sister, Louise Rutschke of Springfield, IL and five grandchildren.
Laura was a very special person to me. I’m very sorry she had such a long illness. She is in a better place now surrounded by those who went before her. My condolences to family members.

Laura is my Aunt and though we had’nt communicated for quite some time I will always remember Her with fondness and love.
