Laurence E. Byrnes, 85, of Largo, Florida passed away on August 28, 2010 at Hospice House Woodside in Pinellas Park, Florida. He was born in Bradford, Massachusetts on April 16, 1925, the son of the late Edward and Caroline Kennis Byrnes. Laurence enlisted in the US Navy during World War II, and moved to Florida in 1960 from Buffalo, NY where he was employed as a housekeeping manager for a local hospital. He is survived by his wife, Natalie; his son, Randy and daughter-in-law, Deborah. The family request donations be made to Hospice of the Florida Suncoast.
Military honors were held for Laurence from Bay Pines National Cemetery in St. Petersburg, Florida on September 9, 2010.
