I am so sorry for your loss :(
Marcia & Jason, Thinking of you and keeping you in my prayers. Not knowing Larry well I learned that he had a good life history reading the obituarary. He was very quiet & cordial when I met him several years ago & wish I had not lived so far away to know him better. May he now rest in pece. Love, Carolyn
Marcia:I met Larry while attending Bible Study at your house. He was always pleasant and smiling even when he was not feeling well. In the future I am sure you will recall many things that you shared in the course of your married life,so Whenever they come, embrace them no matter how they make you feel or think. I am very sorry for your loss.
Dear Larry, For the short time I knew you, you had a huge heart and love for the Lord. He called you home to be HIS Angel for His very own needs. Marcia be Blessed as being with the Lord is the best home anyone can have. My prayers are with you and your son. Larry was a sweet sweet man and will be missed by all who were privileged to have known him.
Farewell to my dear friend – Larry Glubiak
Years ago, I had once remembered hearing that, “Throughout our lives we will have hundreds of acquaintances, but if you need two hands to count your true friends, you should consider yourself blessed.” I am blessed, and Larry Glubiak was one of the main reasons why.
Larry died last Sunday, leaving a very huge hole in the fabric of our universe.
When we stayed in our Ocala house I saw Larry along with Marcia and of course when I went down taking care of family matters. But true friendship isn’t about time together. It’s about being able to safely share yourself — your thoughts and innermost feelings — with that other very special person. It’s about mutual appreciation and integrity. And it’s about trust.
Larry was a kind and gentle soul, and while he enjoyed laughing and joking around, it was never at the expense of someone’s feelings. Larry never laughed at you. He always laughed with you. His was never the laughter of ridicule, but was instead the laughter of shared amusement at our common human foibles. Never a finger poking fun, but rather an outstretched arm pulling you into a warm and caring hug.
Now a very precious light has gone out in the world, but Larry’s death has not changed my true-friend count. His spirit continues on in my memories and surrounds me everywhere.
I considered myself very blessed to have had some time with Larry just before he passed.
Larry, you were very much loved and will be sorely missed.
Safe journeys, my dearest friend.
Peace and blessings until we meet again.
Your, Brother in CHRIST, Elliot
Although we only knew Larry a few years, he was always cheerful and friendly even though he was not feeling good. He was loved by our community and will be remembered fondly. You are both in our prayers.
Uncle Larry:
I will miss you so much. Glad to know you are in a better place now.
Love you Niece
Laura
Dear Marcia and Jason,
My heart felt condolences to you both. Hope to see you soon.
Love,
Momma Edna
Marcia & Jason: We were all sorry to hear of Larry’s passing right after Jim. We know he is in a better place with all pain being gone. He and Jim can once again converse as neighbors and we will be with them when Jesus leads us home. God bless you both. We love you, Sandy, Rod, Michelle & Corinne.
Dearest Marcia and Jason – God blessed you with 46 yeas of a loving relationship with Larry. Although the last few years Larry was incapacitated, your love and devotion never ceased. Larry knew in his heart that your love remained constant and you cared for him with deep affection. I have not seen Larry in many years, but I know that you and Jason were the love of his life. Thank, God, you have so many happy memories to cling to. That and knowing that he is with the Lord should be all comforting to the both of you.
Rob sends his love and sympathy to you both on Larry’s passing as does Nick.
Our prayers are with you and Jason.
Much love, Barbara
