Leo (Lee) Michael Yoswick, 70, of Clearwater, Florida returned to his Heavenly Father on December 22, 2009.  He was born on November 18, 1939 in Leisenring(1), PA to Helen and Leo C. Yoswick.  He is survived by his wife, Marleen B. Yoswick; children Aprile Murphy of Pasadena, MD, Lee A. Yoswick of Dover, DE, Fay Ellers of Orem, UT; stepsons, Richard Petry of Pinellas Park, FL, Carl Petry of New Port Richey, FL; sisters Dottie Keller of Baltimore, MD, Clara Volkman of Marriotsville, MD; and 10 grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by sisters, Mary Mangosh, Rita Miner and Ellen Scott.

Leo served his country honorably and was stationed in Germany from 1963-1965.  He was a dedicated employee with Joseph E. Seagrams & Son Co. He retired in 1993 after 32 years of service.  Leo was very active in his religion, showing great faith and always giving thanks and praise to the Lord.  He enjoyed fishing, crabbing, and hunting with his children. He had a love of old westerns and Charlie Chan movies.  His wife Marleen taught him how to crochet and he spent many hours making toys and animals for children that attended his church and he donated many to the local nursing home.  His handmade gifts always brought a smile to those who received them. Leo also enjoyed country dancing with his wife Marleen and taught others as well.

His family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to his many doctors and nurses who encouraged him to keep fighting and for their outstanding dedication and service to Dad and our family. We would like to recognize Suncoast Hospice – Yellow Team; we couldn’t have made it without you, thank you.

In memory of Leo please donate to Suncoast Hospice so they may continue to provide others with their wonderful service.  You can donate online at www.thehospice.org in memory of him.  Donations may also be mailed to: The Hospice Foundation of the Florida Suncoast,  5771 Roosevelt Blvd.  Clearwater, FL  33760
