Lester C. Carter, 87, of Pinellas Park, Fl, passed away April 7, 2013 at Bay Pines VA Health Care System.
Born July 9, 1925 in Thomasville, GA to Leonard & Myrtle, he moved here from New York in 1985. He married Mary Farrell in Brooklyn, NY. He served in the Navy during WWII and retired from the US Army in 1967 after serving tours during the Korean and Vietnam Wars.
Survivors include his daughter, Catherine Carter; four sons, Scott, William, Kevin, and Jeffery; 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and a great-great grandson.

I just found out about Lester. I worked with him at Clearwater Community Hospital. In my experiences with him, he was a great man who loved his family. I wish he would know today that I came back on the correct path in life. RIP I will miss you. Terry
