Diane,
After meeting with you and mom I wish I had known your dad! It is an honor to me to help you. Kim and I are keeping your family in our prayers.
I believe Dad did a good job giving his children good morals to live by.He believed in hard work and making your own way in the world.I’m glad he is not suffering anymore. I’m proud to call him my Dad. God, look over him and Mom. I will miss him forever.
The greatest memory I will have of my grandfather is him “actually” writing a check to me for graduating high school. I love my grandfather and love my family so much and I plan to keep the Baudendistel legacy alive.
Daddy was a man who knew what he liked: his cars, beautiful women, navy beans and chocolate pie. I’ll miss kissing the top of that bald head.
Dear Ruth and Family
This is a time of great loss but more importantly it is a time to celabrate Lorin’s life on earth and his new life with Our Lord. I will always remember my spring vacations and all the good times Lorin and I had. Lorin and all of you are in our prayers.
God Bless All Of You
Jerry and Madonna
Loren has been my “across the street” neighbor for ten years. A fine gentleman and friend. He was my watchdog and always looked to see if my blinds were open in the morn. I already miss him so much.
Bruce and family,
Please accept my condolences for your loss. Through your descriptions, it sounds like he was a good family man, and friend, and will be missed.
Diane, Ruth and family,
As you share your memories of Lorin with others you honor his importance in your lives. god bless and comfort each of you
Bruce and Brett,
Even though we never had the privilege of knowing your father he sounded like a great guy. It?s not easy losing a parent but knowing he will be in your heart with fond memories must be a great comfort.
A republican through and through, you couldn’t be a brighter shade of RED. Watching the news was a mandatory ritual. I called long distance one evening during election time, he was just flabbergasted that anyone would call during this very important time. He did not hesitate to end the call and get back to the election coverage.
I had the honor to visit with him on the last night of his long and eventful life. He could not talk out loud and his eyes would barely open for short periods. He seemed to not be in pain and appeared to have a restful countenance. After a half hour or so I told him that I had to leave. I held his hand for a moment, then turned to leave, when suddenly he leaped forward and drew circles in the air. This went on for several minutes. In the meantime I questioned him as to what he was trying to say. In a charade-like fashion we communicated until I finally got it. “Are you telling me to come back around”, I asked. He shook his head yes then layed back. Thank you sir, that meant a lot to me.
Ruth, Diane and Family,
Please accept our deepest sympathy with the passing of Lorin. He is at rest and at peace now. We have many fond memories of your family get- togethers when he was apart of them. He will be missed.
Ruth and Family,
It can be such a sad time now, but it’s also a time for family to come together and remember all the great things that a person has brought to their family. You were all so kind to me when my Mother died, so I want you to know that you are all in my prayers. God bless, he will be missed. Love, Becky
Mom, Diane and Family,
I have many fond memories of Lorin and all of the family. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
