Louis A. Ferrari, Jr., 61, of Lancaster, died unexpectedly on Sunday, March 15, 2009 at his home.
Born February 5, 1948, in Manhattan, NY, he was the son of Louis A. and Priscilla (Salcedo) Ferrari, Sr.
A Veteran of Vietnam, Louis proudly served with the U.S. Marine Corps where he was awarded a Purple Heart, a National Defense Medal, a Vietnam Service Medal and a Vietnam Campaign Medal.
He is survived by a daughter, Priscilla Ferrari; three grandchildren; his mother, all of Lancaster; his father, of NY; a sister, Dilia Rodriguez, of Lancaster and a brother Angelo Ferrari, of NY
Funeral Services will be held at the Andrew T. Scheid Funeral Home, Exclusive Provider of Veterans Funeral Care, 320 Blue Rock Road, Route 999, Millersville, PA, 717-872-2266 on Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at 7 PM. Cremation will follow. Private Inurnment will be in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery with full Military Honors. Friends may view at Scheid’s on Wednesday between 6 and 7 PM.
