Louis Rosa, 80, of Ocala, FL, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2009 at Estelle House under the care of Hospice.
He was born on December 23, 1929 in Brooklyn, NY. Louis was a proud U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was an active member of The Fraternal Order of Eagles Post #3656 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #4209 in Ocala.
Louis is survived by his children, Louis, David, Timothy, Kevin, Debbie, Yvonne, Elizabeth, and Donna; grandchildren, Jason, Danielle, Landry, Samantha, Derek, Ryan, TJ, Kelly, Lance and his great grandchild; Cameron; his siblings, Elsie, Felice, Junior, George, and Nina.
Graveside services will be held with full military honors at 11:30 AM on Friday, January 9, 2009 at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. A tribute celebration will follow at the Eagles Club, Post #3656 in Ocala, beginning at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 11, 2009. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Louis’s honor to Estelle House of Marion County.
