Louise Higdon, 87, of Tampa, Florida graveside funeral service is 2:00 PM, Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at the Garden of Memories Cemetery, 7210 East Lake Avenue, Tampa, Florida 33610 with Pastor Jim Brady, to officiate. The family will receive friends at the cemetery prior to the service.
A native of Thomaston, Georgia and a local resident, she was a homemaker and a Baptist. She was born on April 26, 1926 to George & Susie Spraggins and passed away on August 8, 2013 at the Shady Palms Retirement Home in Tampa, Florida.
She is survived by her loving family. Her sons, Jerry Sutton and his wife, Susie of Tampa, Florida and Larry Sutton and his wife, Darlene of Purcellville, Virginia; her daughters, Janet Engel of Lakeland, Florida and Kathy Epperson of Tampa, Florida; twelve grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. Louise is predeceased by her parents, husband and a daughter, Carol Saffold.
Louise was a mother who loved her kids, grandkids and great grandkids.
