I have kept up with Melody through Facebook. Did not know she was ill I will miss her and her wonderful posts. I know her family will miss her greatly.
I am deeply saddened by the loss of our friend, Melody. I have enjoyed my contact with her these recent years. We shared many wonderful memories. Melody had a sweet quietness about her that was felt in any letter, email, or post. I will miss her. Rest well my friend in the loving arms of God our Father.
Your mother was such a kind, loving and forgiving person. If only there were more people in the world like her! But, she has left her imprint on her family members and they will carry on her legacy. We will miss her deeply.
My very best friend from being together in the nursery at Ohio Valley Hospital, our school days throughout our youth, and our continued close friendship over the decades. There was no one closer than Melody. See you on the other side! Love you!! NJ
Immediately when I met Melody almost 25 years ago,my first impression of her was that she was a sweet, quiet, loving person! I was quite impressed at her devotion to her family. I felt very blessed at that time and over the years to call her my friend. Over the years we both traveled different roads due to or children going to different schools but life always seemed to cause our paths to cross from time to time such as Avon meetings and then Facebook came along and it allowed us to keep in touch more. I was blessed to spend a little time visiting her at home and then at the hospital during the week prior to her passing. I will treasure that time. She was a good friend that would help at a moments notice, kind and giving. You don’t come across people like Melody very often in a lifetime, so when you do they make quite an impression on your life. Melody made that impression in my life, made a mark in my heart that will be there for as long as I live. She is the type of person that makes you want to strive to be like her. I will truly miss her! My heart and prayers go out to her children for not only did they lose their mother but I know, especially for Dreama, one of the best friends they will ever have.
