Melvin F. Schultz, 71, of Largo died on Jan. 18, 2010 at home.
Born in Albion, NY, he moved here from Kendall, NY in 1993. He retired from Eastman Kodak after 32 years of service. He was a Navy veteran and a lifetime member of the VFW in Hamlin, NY. He enjoyed sports and was a fan of the NY Yankees and Dallas Cowboys.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Ruth; 3 sons, David of Largo, Thomas (and wife, Danielle) of Glendale, CA, and Gary (and wife, Jenny) of Loveland, CO; twin brother, Marvin of Indiana; aunt, Ruth Drennan of Zephyrhills, FL; 8 grandchildren and a great granddaughter.
A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held at 10:45AM on Friday, Jan. 22nd at Bay Pines National Cemetery, 10000 Bay Pines Blvd., Bay Pines, FL.

Tim and I are so very sorry to hear of Mel’s passing. Mel was such a wonderful person. Remember the first time we met? Tim and I stopped by Gary and Jenny’s on our way home from Sturgis. You all waited up for us, and we got along as if we were old friends. We are all truly blessed for having known him.
