Dear Uncle Mike,
We did not have daily interactions but nonetheless you were a special part of my life. I will always remember watching “Creature Features” and you be silly pretending to be Wolf-Man. You were a big kid at heart, kind, gentle, soft spoken, and dreamy about your family. You were many things to many people. You were a loyal brother and companion to my father and gave him purpose in life. You made time with my children fun and they loved being around you. I am grateful that you have been a part of all of our lives. I will miss going to Florida and stopping by to pick all of your neighbors grapefruits!!! (I really didn’t care about the grapefruits. It was just fun to see you.)
I am relieved that you only suffered a short time. Now, you are pain free with God and that I am thankful for!! Take care Uncle Mike and I will see you heaven.
Uncle Mike,
I wish I spent more time with you before you passed away but Im glad you spent a lot of time with Papa and Mimi instead. It will not be the same when I go to Florida and go with Papa to your house and pick oranges and grapefruits off your neighbors trees or see you when I’m not there. You were a great man and always made me laugh. Im glad you are no longer suffering in pain anymore but wish you were still here. Im sorry I didnt get a chance to say goodbye to you or see you one last time..While being in heaven please watch over everyone especially papa and mimi they miss you a lot.. Rest in peace and hopefully one day we will meet again..There is a song that reminds me of you and everything that has happened its called Live like were dying by Kri Allen..there is a part in the song that I agree on “We only got
86 400 seconds in a day to
turn it all around or throw it all away
we gotta tell ’em that we love ’em
while we got the chance to say
gotta live like we’re dying”
I love and miss you Uncle Mike <3 Michelle
