Michael A. Sayre, 47, of Dunedin, FL, passed away on Thursday morning, August 23, 2012 at Bay Pines VA Health Care System.
Born in Dunedin, he is survived by his wife and soul mate, Peggy Sue; her three sons, Robert, Chris and his wife, Nikki, and David Irwin; mother in law, Mary Berutti; brother in law, Wally Johnson; and two grandsons, Alec and Ace “Squirt” Irwin. Mike will be greatly missed by all his cousins and friends; and sadly missed by their child, Hershey, his chocolate lab.
Michael was an electrician and supervisor. He served three years in the US Army.

A celebration for Michael will be held from 12 – 3 PM on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at Fairways Pizza Restaurant, 2901 Alt. 19 North, Palm Harbor, FL 34683. Military Presentation will be at 2:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Bay Pines VAHCS, PO Box 5005, Sect. 135, Bay Pines, FL 33744 (write “Hospice” in the memo).

Taken away too soon, but here long enough for each of us to know you loved us. We thank you for the wonderful relationship you had with Ace and we all miss you very much. He sleeps with his “pops” bear every night and knows he will fish again with his pops someday in Heaven.
We promise to always be there for mom and to always keep your spirit alive.
