Milton Cecil Gunkel, 59, of Bradenton, FL funeral is 2:00 PM, Friday afternoon, February 5, 2010 at the Sarasota National Cemetery, 9810 State Route 72, Sarasota, FL 34241 with the United States Navy Military Honors Team from Jacksonville NAS, FL, to officiate. A native of Sapulpa, OK and a local resident since first moving to the area in 1972 from Tulsa, OK; he was a sub-contractor in the aluminum business and a aluminum draftsman. He was of the Pentecostal Faith and served our nation during the Vietnam War Era. Milton was survived by his daughter, Tina K. Gunkel of Oakhurst, OK; lifelong companion Carol R. Gunkel of Bradenton, FL , sisters; June Gunkel of Useless, TX; Nova Hill of Sand Springs, OK, Rosie Fain of Oakhurst, OK and his grandson, John Paul O’Donnell of Bradenton, FL.
