A free spirit received her wings on February 15, 2012, as Nancy Campbell left us to join her sister, Zandra, and her parents. Nancy is survived by her brother, Walter; her sister, Phyllis and her husband, William; sons Robert, William, Thomas, Daniel, David and James; over two dozen grandkids and a few great-grandchildren.
Nancy was a three-time cancer survivor, a graduate from Evangelical School of Nursing in Chicago, and a retiree from St. Margaret's Hospital in Hammond, Indiana.
We moved to Florida to escape the winters in Chicago, and have been living here for over a decade. She had a way with children and dealt with them in a unique manner which they all favored. Raised in Chicago south side Pullman community, she learned diversity and to treat others with the respect they deserved. Nancy will be missed but remembered always.
Private services only. Prayers welcomed.
