Nancy Kay Robertson, 69, Plant City, FL funeral service is 7:00 PM, Thursday, June 14, 2012 at Cork Church of Christ, 3211 Cork Road, Plant City, Florida 33565 with Doy Moyer, to officiate. Burial will be at 10:00 AM, Friday, June 22, 2012 at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Avenue, Bushnell, FL 33513.
A native of Grand Rapids, Michigan and a local area resident since 1974, she was a homemaker and also traveled with her husband , George, as he drove a long distance tractor trailer throughout the United States. Nancy was a member of Cork Church of Christ in Plant City, FL.
Preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Helen Folkerts, Nancy is survived by her loving family: her husband, George; her two sons, Scott Romkey and his wife, Traci of New Port Richey, FL and Jim Romkey and his wife, Jan of Temple Terrace, FL; her daughter, Sheree Gonzalez and her husband, David of Cary, NC; a sister, Arlene Kishkorn of Bradenton, FL; and three grandchildren; Joshua Romkey, Christopher Romkey and Danielle Romkey.

Please accept my sincere condolences for the loss of Nancy. I never had the opportunity to meet Nancy-we met through a mutual friend and became email buddies. Sometimes our political views were different and we discussed those but always respectfully. She was a sweet lady and I am so sorry that she has been taken so soon.
