Veterans Funeral Care Norman Perdue

Norman E. Perdue, 75, of Tampa, died on Thursday, August 5, 2010, at the UCH Long Term Acute Care Hospital at Connerton in Land O’ Lakes, FL. He was born in Irwin, OH and moved to the Tampa Bay area in 1976 from RAF Lakenheath AFB, England.

Norman served his country for over twenty-eight years as a member of the United States Air Force where he specialized in Avionics Maintenance. He served during the Vietnam War and was awarded the Purple Heart. He retired on September 1, 1982, at the rank of Chief Master Sergeant. Following his military service, he worked for Honeywell, Raytheon and H&R Block.

His parents, Norman and Bonnie Perdue, preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife of fifty-three years, Della, daughter Donella of Jacksonville Beach, FL; six siblings in Ohio and one in NY.

On Friday, August 13, 2010, at 1:00PM, a graveside service with full military honors will take place at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
