Norris C. Butch Cranmer, Jr., 70, of Tampa, FL, passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2014, at Tampa General Hospital. He was born in Nashville, TN, and served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War.
Butch moved to Tampa as a child and graduated from Robinson Hugh School. After his tour of duty with the US Army, he became an electrician. Butch loved to fish, go out on his boat and eat good food. He also loved spending time with his grandkids and also his cat, Kitty. He was a devoted son and grandfather and enjoyed spending time with his mother.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Norris Chester Cranmer, Sr. and Elsie Louise (Moats) Cranmer and his sister, Caroline Cranmer. He is survived by his stepsons, David and Russell Gorgen; step-daughter in law, Trina Gorgen; grandchildren, Lindsay, Michael and Gracie Gorgen; and nephews, Thomas and Timothy Scott Kippenberg and Eddie Williams.
Services with Military held at 2:15PM on Thursday, October 2, 2014, at Bay Pines National Cemetery. The cemetery is located at 10000 Bay Pines Blvd, Bay Pines, FL.

Please accept my condolences. Norris was a neighbor many years ago when both our families lived on Euclid. I remember his sister Carolyn and his mother, very well.
