Crandall, Patricia G., 74, of Tampa, passed away Tuesday morning, May 19, 2009 at University Community Hospital-Fletcher after a two-year battle with cancer. Pat moved to Tampa from her native Cortland, NY in 1991 after her retirement from SUNY Cortland. She was active in CSEA as a longtime Local President and State Executive Board Member. After retirement, she enjoyed crafts, decoupage, crossword puzzles and spending time with her family and friends. She was also an active walker with the University Mall Walkers on Fowler Avenue.She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Marlea Greene and brother Milton Greene. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Donald; two sons, Albert of St. Petersburg, FL and David (Karen) of Cortland, NY; two daughters, Cheryl Burgett of Tampa, FL and Marlea (Bill) Roberts of Clearwater, FL; sister, Alice Greene, of Cortland, NY; four grandchildren, Sean Burgett, Jessica Burgett-DeGalaviz, Alicia and Alexis Crandall; five great grandsons, a great granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews. A small private memorial service will be held in NY at a later date.
