Patrick Francis “Scotty” Hinkle, 75, of Largo, passed away on Tuesday, September 4, 2012, at the Bay Pines VA Medical Center in Bay Pines, FL. He was born in Washington DC.
Scotty served in the U. S. Army from 1953 to 1956, and then served in the U. S. Air Force from 1957 to 1959. After his military service, he was in the entertainment industry for many years, including coordinating shows for the Playboy Clubs in the 1960's. Additionally, he was an original member of the local rock group, the Impacs, using the name Pat Scot. Later, he worked in construction, and in recent years worked as a commercial fisherman.
He is survived by his daughter, Laura Enoch (husband, Kirk) and their eight children; his sister, Marianne Rogers Faust (husband, Mike Faust); his sister, Debby Burger; and his long-time companion, Jeannette Giner.
I am sorry for you loss. (I was Pat’s wife in 1961-1962 and the mother of his son, Patrick Hinkle II, born in St. Petersburg, last seen in St. Louis. Do you know where he is??
I enjoyed talking to Scotty out at the smoking table.
