Bill, my condolences to you and your family. I didn’t personally know your brother but I remember the stories you’ve shared with me. May he rest in peace. God Bless…
Paul willis truly missed by all of us at Frys. I have a lot of respect and admiration for him, he always had a kind word and joke to keep us going. It is with great sadness and regret when we heard the horrible news. We are truly heartbroken and we will always keep his spirit alive with us.
Paul never had a mean or complaining remark . I am personally very sad that I will not get to see him dress up like Elwood Blues Brother for Halloween, as he did last year.
What an honor it is for me to say that I am so grateful that I got to be Paul’s friend and co-worker. He is truly loved. God bless the family, I am truly sorry.
My Condolences to Bill and Family
I’ve known Paul since he married my cousin by marriage in the early 70’s. He and I were good friends, I believe. We had a love of poetry in common, though we never read each other’s work. He went through rough times and came back a better man. I am very proud to call him “friend” and am deeply saddened by his loss–I had been thinking about him a lot lately. It’s good to know that he is at peace finally.
Paul,
you were a great person, your energy and enthusiasm is something to be admired. People say I have big shoes to fill in your stead. I will never attempt to fill those shoes as you were a one of a kind, but instead, before making decisions, I will think to myself, “what would Paul have done?” Thanks for all the memories, the jokes and for just being you. You are missed my friend.
Paul was one of those people that everyone looked up to and admired, he had so many wonderful qualities, but my favorite quality was his kindness. If the president of the u.s. and a homeless man were in the same room with him, he would assurably talk to the homeless man with the same respect as the president! That was the kind of guy he was, he would give the shirt off his back for anyone.
We love and miss you Paul!!
He will be remembered by all as a caring loving soul with the soul of a poet. God bless
Paul loved celebrations – esp. the holidays. He will be missed by many. Thank you Paul for your compassionate service to the homeless, for your sense of humor and style.
