Ralph Knowles Spaulding, 70, of Clearwater, Florida passed away on August 8, 2010 at his residence. He was born in Springfield, Illinois on October 22, 1939, the son of the late Ralph and Frances Neat Spaulding. He attended schools locally and attained his Bachelor's Degree. Ralph served his country in the Air Force and later was employed as an electrical engineer for National Cash Registers. He is survived by his wife Catherine Riddleberger Spaulding; his daughter, Tricia (David) Santos; his son, Tom (Violet) Spaulding and 6 grandchildren. Ralph was also a wonderful step-father to 5 step children, Bonnie (Rick) Vogt, Debbie (Tom) Schafer, Kevin (Mary) Mulholland, Kelley (Larry) Roland, Wally (Kristen) Mulholland, and 12 grandchildren.
Military honors will be conducted from Florida National Cemetery on August 12, 2010.
This message is for tom. My father is Robert Wayne Spaulding. Ralph senior was my dad’s uncle. My grandfather, my dad’s dad, was Marshall greenleaf Spaulding who was born in sweet water Illinois. Ralph would have been my grandfathers brother -one of 12 children.
We are wondering if this is the correct connection My dad will soon be 93 in good health and was interested if knowing if the family line is continued
