Ray Frank Moore, Jr., 72, of Hudson, died on September 8, 2007, at his home. He was born in Frostproof, FL, and moved to Hudson in 1941. A native of the area, he returned to Florida after his time in the military.
He served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. After thirteen years in the service, he became a truck driver and the captain of his own shrimp boat.
He is survived by his daughters, Sherry Moore of Citrus Heights, CA; Angela Moore-Tucker of Corning, CA; Michelle Shifflet of Ranch Cordova, CA; brother, Roy Moore of CA; and sister, Catherine Moore of New York.

Ray was a hard-working, good neighbor. We will miss seeing him taking his walks around the neighborhood.
My deepest sympathies to the family of Ray. I remember him in High School at Gulf High. I know his family will miss him.
